The Fiat legend lives on

The Fiat Punto would be one of the most important vehicles in Fiats Australian history. It's the first vehicle which has returned the Fiat name to Australia and is the start of a long line of stylish & modern vehicles building and maintaining Fiats heritage.

With fuel prices sky rocketing the Australian Government released figures revealing that the Fiat Punto is the most economical convential car in Australia with the Punto 1.3litre JTD five door offering a fuel consumption figure of 4.6litres per 100kms. This provides the Fiat Punto with the same level of fuel economy as the Honda Civic Hybrid and just two tenths of a litre behind the Toyota Primus, both which cost considerably more then the Fiat Punto.

The new Fiat 500 arrived on exactly the same 50^th birthday of the original car 4^th July 2007.

The original Fiat 500 was an automotive icon due to its seamless design and technology making it a timeless benchmark for small cars - Small on the outside, Big on the inside. The 500 also became a symbol of re birth in Italy after the country rose from the Second World War.

It may be small but the latest EuroNCAP results have proven that the new Fiat 500 is strong and safe. The 500 collected an outstanding five star rating and the organizers of the world's toughest safety testing organization have praised Fiat for providing safety features that enable diminutive Fiat to beat bigger cars when it comes to accident protection.

From the moment the re birth of this timeless and historic vehicle has taken place we can see that the future will be even brighter for the Fiat 500:
