History of Brian Foley Automotive

Brian Foley started motor racing in the early 1950's specializing in Austin A30, Austin A40 Farina, Austin Lancer, Austin Healey Sprite marks 1 & 2a and finally the Morris Cooper S.

Brian's first competitive drive in an Alfa Romeo was in 1968 when he co drove a 1750 GTV at Bathurst after setting the fastest practice time. From here the rest is history...

The story goes that Henry Ford used to doff his hat when he saw an Alfa Romeo pass.

Brian Foley Automotive has been an established dealership from 1964, one of Australia's longest service dealers of Alfa Romeo vehicles.

In 2004, Ruth Elnaugh who worked along side Brian Foley for many years became the new dealer Principal of Brian Foley Automotive 2004 along with partner Martyn Misson they have carried on Brians passion and dedication.

In 2004, Brian Foley Automotive gained Fiat Commercial and Fiat Passenger Vehicle franchises establishing a new found relationship with Fiat owners and developing a new love of the Fiat motor vehicle both Commercial, Motor homes and Passenger vehicles.
